This spring we will distribute Workbook: The Official Catalog of Workshopping: An American Model of Architectural Practice, the official catalog of the U.S. Pavilion for the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale. It is published by 306090 and the High Museum of Art. who are also organizing the exhibition which will be open from August 29 – November 21, 2010. The exhibition plan is available here.
More than a simple record of Workshopping, Workbook embraces the theme of the show to expand on this model and assemble, for each participant, images and texts that explore and expand upon their exhibitions. Workbook is both a sourcebook for workshopping and a review of contemporary design practices dedicated to engagement in the American city.
