The Type Directors Club’s inaugural TDC Book Fair begins today at 3pm at the club’s office on West 36th Street. The fair is open to the general public Friday 29th May from 3pm to 9pm and Saturday, May 30th from 11am to 5pm. Entrance is free for TDC Members, $15 for non-member, $10 for non-member students and seniors.
At 5pm authors Doug Clouse and Angela Voulangas will be signing copies of their amazing new book The Handy Book of Artistic Printing: A Collection of Letterpress Examples with Specimens of Type, Ornament, Corner Fills, Borders, Twisters, Wrinklers, and other Freaks of Fancy at the Princeton Architectural Press table. A variety of PA PRESS design titles will be available for purchase at a discount.
