Princeton Architectural Press, together with The Hand Drawn Map Association (HDMA) is publishing a collection of hand drawn maps. To celebrate and help collect interesting maps for possible inclusion in the upcoming book, the HDMA will be running a contest over the next few months. They are giving away a series of super-limited edition monoprints which were recently created for the exhibition, All Over the Map, at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
To participate, simply submit a map to the HDMA before April 30, 2009 via mail, email, or upload. One winner will be chosen at random during February, March, and April from the submissions received during that month. Your name will be entered for each map you submit, so send as many maps as you can. Maps submitted between January 21 and January 31 2009 will be included in February’s drawing.
At the end of April, the HDMA will choose their favorite map submitted during the contest. This grand prize winner will receive a collection of all three limited edition prints.
This contest is open to everyone who submits a map before April 30, 2009. The HDMA will ship the winning posters anywhere in the world.
