Rural Studio makes a big splash at the Venice Biennale · Sep 22, 01:37 PM
From the Auburn College of Architecture and Design Website:
“The College of Architecture, Design and Construction’s Rural Studio is receiving some international attention with recognition of their $20K Houses and Hale County Animal Shelter projects. The two are included in the exhibition “Into the Open: Positioning Practice” which has been selected to represent the United States at the 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale in September. The exhibit challenges traditional methods of architecture and demonstrates architectural responses to social and environmental issues.”
Both Rural Studio and Proceed and Be Bold are available now from Princeton Architectural Press.
