Louise Nevelson’s glossy black kitchen. From Pedro E. Guerrero: A Photographer’s Journey.
Louise Nevelson is having a cultural moment. From an exciting new exhibition at the Jewish Museum to a recent style profile in the New York Times T magazine.
We are proud to present our own contribution to the celebration in the form of a beautiful new book called Pedro E. Guerrero: A Photographer’s Journey. Pedro Guerrero spent his entire career, more than 60 years, photographing houses of some of the most illustrious American architects and artists of the twentieth century. These houses belonged to such legendary artists and architects as Alexander Calder, Marcel Breuer, John Huston, Philip Johnson, Julia Child, Edward Stone, Alexi Brodovitch, and of course Louise Nevelson.
The Sculpture of Louise Nevelson: Constructing a Legend exhibition at the Jewish Museum runs from May 05, 2007 until September 16, 2007. The Museum is located at 1109 Fifth Avenue (northeast corner of 92nd Street) in NYC.
For more information about the exhibition please visit the The Jewish Museum website.
